and let's be honest, I bet you've come across people who think even 3-400 is too much for a watch

I just picked up this Victornox Dive Master 500 and I love it! It is everyday functional and still very classy IMO. I hope to add the new Rolex Explorer II to my collection in the spring.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer... I love the simplicity and classic look and lines.

Don't think I'd blow more than 2K on a watch.

Omegas / Tags are my favorite.

I just got my first nice watch, but now I'm hooked.

I am SO wanting a Panerai. I know what I'm getting myself for my birthday in 4 months!

Really?...for the automatic one and not the quartz one right?..you can get quartz for 1500.00 everywhere...the auto going for 2400.00 now...I would have bought one for 1.5K for sure...I dont wear my nice watches to work cause they are too showy...but the Aquaracer I would wear daily.

It's that exact one; it is a quartz but in reality what difference does it make plus the quartz ones are more accurate not that a second or two makes a difference. I sometimes don't wear it for long periods of time so an automatic wasn't the best option either.

Oh Man! I'm drooling.

To date, I thought I was pretty good at pissing money away on needless things, but I'm in big trouble now that I've found an interest in watches.

I'm stoked though, sporting my new daily wearer Rolex Submariner, which I was told is a good 1st watch for a collector. I've always lusted after the Sub, but now, well, like I said, I'm in trouble. I'll eat Top Ramen for a LONG time to save for my next watch.

I'm getting a Panerai for myself for my B-day in 4 months.

Robin Hood, I might take you up on your Panerai in a bit!

It's been a long time since I wore a watch. I'm finding that doorknobs and other things are very easy to hit with my new Sub. I've already put a very minute scratch on the crystal.

I just ordered some watch lens protectors, clear stick-on vinyl protector.

Anyone else use these?

Just remember to put your watch arm behind your back when you walk through doors. I'm really hard on my Panerai because it's so tall, but it's to wear so fugit.

The vinyl thing is pretty lame IMHO.

Breitling Chronomat - instruments for professionals fellas. Can't be rockin a little boys timepiece with a BMW. Too bad we can't all post vids of the watches, too many fakes out there with a ticking second hand instead of a smooth turn
