photoshop help

I need this to have a completely black background but still want to be able to see the hood outline. Maybe a white haze around it would work. I don't want to see the spackle can it's sitting on either. Anyone want to help me out. Please email me at beauregardderek@gmail.com and I can email a high quality picture. Thanks.

Try using the lasso tool and selecting the whole hood/skull. Then cut it out and paste it on a black background. Once you do that you can always go into layer properties and add do bevel and emboss or an outer glow to make it stand out from the black background.

Then cut it out and paste it on a black background. Once you do that you can always go into layer properties and add do bevel and emboss or an outer glow to make it stand out from the black background. __________________
