Blackberry Bold or Thunder?

maybe all these wonderful new blackberry's will come out before i die. i've been waiting on the bold since it's original release date in may. it was "firm" on oct. 2, but that has come and gone. now they're saying early to mid november although i'm even skeptical of that. at&t has completely mismanaged the situation and didn't think ahead very well with their networks clogged with iphone traffic. it just gives me one more reason to hate the iphone.

yea you don't want an ebay bold anyway. RIM has locked out all bold PINs in the US. that's not to say that you can't get one and not be able to use it, because you would be able to, but you wouldn't be able to get any data, email, etc. waiting is the hardest part

+1, especially if you are going to spend $800+, thats a lot of money, too much to be spending it through ebay IMHO.. keep ebay sales under $500 because you never know...

yeah I was definitely not planning on spending $800 on a Bold (or any phone for that matter) anytime soon but was just shocked to see it that high. I hate waiting for the damn release.....

Yeah, same here, I'm so pissed about the release date being pushed back again.. I'm going to try it out and if I don't like it, I'll suck it up till the bold comes out for Verizon and switch

My dad tests Thunders for RIM and I played with it first hand. I can tell you that the keyboard is actually better than Iphones because you touch a key to select it but you press the whole screen down ( like a click) to enter the letter. if you selected the wrong letter just slide your finger off to the right one and then click down for confirmation. This way it is really fast and precise. Also the interface looks stunning, what you see from the pic are thunders loaded with testing interface.
