It used to be better

Im not trying to get flamed, but if i do, so be it... But, i noticed that recently this forum is not as great a place to ask questions as it once used to be.

the most annoying thing is when you ask a question or someone else does, and the replies have to include the fact that there was a spelling error, or grammatical error or something like that. and then instead of not replying, another common reply would be to sarcastically mock the person asking the question. and finally, the search on this forum isnt always the easiest to use, so why not make a sticky on how to properly use the search? just venting guys

im very sure that im gonna get a reply like the ones i stated above, but all i wanna get to is: what would be the problem with not mocking people who ask questions for a change? its sad but whatever!

Also when an i is by itself it should be capitalized like this "I".

I can't believe you've done this.

But seriously, I needed some help regarding GPS and a member here came through and helped me out. What a great site this is.

Yeah, this forum has really gone down hill the last year. The level of maturity has dropped like a rock as younger drivers get their hands on these cars. Not saying all, but a large majority.

It happens to most forums. Usually starts out great during the first several years and then more people started joining and the original and usually helpful folks move on.

The first 6 months that I started posting here, I thought it was a very helpful board. Now...not so much.

Same here. It's as if the tools from E46 Fanatics have all started getting E9Xs.

I've been here since the beginning (See Join Date) and this place has been in constant decline. It all started when the 335i came out and all the teenagers got them.

No kidding. I logged in under my old username there (amazed it was still active) and it was like surfing a Civic forum. I had horrible flashbacks to high school and promptly logged out.
