The Boss predator! I like the interior very much but that exterior design scares me.

Looks mean but doesn't have the sporting credentials to back it up.

Very brief video, but if you pause it near the end you can get a glimpse of how the tail lights look on the LS600hL at night:

The tail lights actually look pretty sleek. Reminds me a lot of the F10 5 series tali lights which I think are absolutely gorgeous and a work of art from BMW -

Apparently Lexus was fiddling around with a 640 HP/520 ft-lb torque version of the LS through one of their sport subsidiaries (TMG) around the nurburgring a couple of months ago -

0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds - probably a little anemic by AMG standards, but still respectable.

If they can put 640 HP in the LS600, I think the aggressive exterior will be warranted. If not, I agree with michaelthepsycho. Car looks mean (mostly the rear end, I'm not sold on the front end yet) but doesn't have an iota of sportiness to back it up.

I guess with the S63 AMG or Alpina B7, 0 to 60 in 4.2 is very competitive.

I'm not used to thinking about good times for large executive sedans.

Lexus is the best at making a completely generic looking back end of a car, the gs looks like a hyundai sonata from the back. Now the LS looks like a chinese car.

I actually think this is better looking than the GS350 Fsport. Seems to suit the bigger car better and the rear end looks better.

The only Lexus I've ever liked since they've spun off from Toyota was the LFA. Other than that, this brand (style wise) doesn't nothing for me.

To people who are disappointed, Im pretty sure this is supposed to be a facelift, not a completely new model. Lexus wouldnt half-ass a complete redesign, look at the GS. But who cares. I wanna see the new IS against the F30!

If the new IS doesn't come with factory turbo(s) and/or at least a crackable ECU and either a manual option or a true paddle shifting manu-matic option a la the ISF, it'll have absolutely zero impact on the luxury sport tuner crowd.

The M3 neither is turbocharged. And next IS-F is too keep its NA 5.0l V8 but making +470 PS/+500 Nm and get a new dual-clutch transmission.
