Front = weird grille, side = random lines, rear = good.

I like it more than I thought I would, especially the rear. It's not a car I would buy though. I think A3 > A-class > 1 series. The only thing the 1 series wins on is the interior.

Hehe, that's terrible, actually looks worse than the F20, and that's saying something. It looks like it was in the trash compactor from Star Wars and got a little pressed.

It really looks like a German Toyota Matrix, and that mean ugly!!

Works better than I thought, but I def would not buy that. It looks very soft. Almost like a french design or something from Alfa. I see the Volvo V40 in the front end. The only thing I like is the rear end on that A250/350 model.

The only thing I like is that weird grill, it's awesome. I was really looking forward to this, looks like they totally blew it.

It definitely looks more high-end than both the A3 and F20. I also think it's got a touch more character thanks to a few unique design elements. Not used to seeing headlights have a concave inner edge, but the taper along the topside does highlight the grille's shape and gives it a solid frame with a more substantial feel.

The one thing that's throwing me off is the treatment of the lower suage line; the upward kink is too drastic imo. Typically, designers mirror the line created by the top of the greenhouse. Were they to make a two door A-Class, with a more intensely-raked roofline aft of the A-pillar, I think the line would fit in better.

Also not a fan of the ridiculous intakes and their unresolved surrounds on the sportier grey model pictured above.

Oh and that red line ruins the hell out of the rear in that last pic, and I'm usually a fan of red pin accents. Had it been a CHMSL that remained darkly tinted when not in use, I wouldn't mind so much.

Wow, I actually really like the look of the new A-Class. It's lightyears better than the B-class and to me at least seems better than the A3 and 1series hatch. Good job Benz!

That actually looks pretty good. Is it RWD? What kind of engines and transmissions will it come with? Will it come out in the US?

Also, where's the gear selector in the interior shot??

I am really liking this and I'm sorry to say I think it looks a whole lot better than the 1 series and I think might give the beemer a bit of a kicking in the sales charts. I was reading on the forums A-Class Forum that there is quite a waiting list for them at the moment too.
