Pinhead in a mazda 3 -proceeds to cut infront and then FLIP ME off

I was heading south in the left lane of the main thoroughfare of this town. Probably about 1.5 cars behind the truck in front of me doing about 30max. In the right lane is a mazda 3. Dent in the drivers rear fender. I hear him give it what is probably full throttle and then start to move over in front of me. I honk and he flipps me off. Because the truck a head of him had to brake, I just about hit him because there is not enough room after he shoehorned his way in there.

I go to the right lane and before I am even with his door he starts to make a move like he was coming back over to the right lane.

Another car pulls in the left lane so he is a few cars back and as we come up to the light he stops by my door. He rolls down the window and I asked WTF was that - he said he used the turn indicator. I said if you did it was when you were already over there. I then see a dent in the passenger door. I said I guess it does not matter since he has a POS car. And at that he throws a aluminum can at me and heads off

This chump is history if I see him and his POS ride around this small town. If someone has a license plate search ID please PM me.

What threat? - I just might file assault charges.

Actually, theres a local board here - If I wanted to get real retribution/visiblity I would have put something there.

I think getting hit in the face with a can qualifies as an assault.

Is it different in CA???

If i walked into a police station and tried to file an assault charge against someone who threw a can at me, I could already picture the onslaught of laughter I would receive..... The LA sherrif department have better things to worry about.

Edit*** im assuming the can he threw at you was empty.. If it was full I would have chased this assbag down.

Probably true - but this is a nation of laws. And if they are ignored - chaos ensues.

So its ok to take the law into your own hands if there is some risk involved but not otherwise? The point is not the 'damage' associated with a can, its this individual electing to make his own rules of the road. He won't learn anything from that without it being brought to his attention - it can be done lawfully or not.

This is a small COLLEGE community. The problems in LA are just as far as the geographical distance.

Your right - in more than one instance, it did almost cause damage to the car (or my safety). And that is what some fine$$ will make a little more real to him.

Yes, I acknowledge I was (no more really) upset and borderline angry (and I really don't get angry).. but people who ignore the rights of others tend to do that to me.

He could've shot you in the face, and you would be dead.

Let it go.

I am yet to see the part where you got hit in the face.

Maybe you need to learn how to express yourself better, because your story made no sense, other than you didn't like some dude in a mazda because he cut you off.

Actually, I probably wont do anything (other than maybe the brick)

I didn't say the face initially bc I didn't think it mattered.. and obviously I was right. Again, it was not being cutoff, it was almost being involved in an AVOIDABLE accident..

Yall have some strange goings on in S.CA I guess. - no wonder things escalate out there like they do.

you didn't say hit in the face initially because you pulled the story out of your ass as this thread developed.

look at the title "Pinhead in a mazda 3 -proceeds to cut infront and then FLIP ME off"

You put "FLIP ME off" in the title, but failed to mention that you got hit in the face with a can because you didn't think it mattered? And flipping off did? LOL. Give me break.

If he didn't hit you, and you knew he was gunning it to get over, then I'm not quite sure what the problem is. If it offended you that a Mazda 3 (which isn't a POS car by the way) was trying to move over, I suggest you never come to a high traffic area (LA, DC, NY) where everyone drives that way all of the time and it's no contact no foul.

Not being rude, just telling it from the other perspective. If someone is being aggressive and you dont want to be a part of it, just stay out of their way.

Honestly, 335e92tx always makes crap threads. I almost didn't open this one because I pretty much knew it would be something stupid and asanine.

Seriously, rolling down your window at a stop light to challenge someone who cut in front of you?
You are the reason BMW drivers get such a bad reputation for being cocky, reckless, douches.

Then I remembered this is the same guy who walked into a restaurant to "flirt" with another guy about whose car traps higher.

He was not trying to move over. He just decided I was not worth his time to make any effort in a polite manner to ask to get over. Nobody was behind ME. - why could he not just drop in behind???
And I said it was a POS because of the dents not the model.
Having driven in houston, when others need to get in they make some gesture.. not just move over and risk an accident. WHich was obviously no problem for him hence the dents.

maybe you should not have insulted his choice of car...you did not have to go there as it just adds to our rep of being snobby bastards....also it may not be his fault that there are dents in his car (maybe he is waiting on the insurance company to fix his car from an accident that isn't his fault)......

sorry bro but you kind of deserved it

It's not just that one thread, it's the majority of your "street tale" threads. Remember the thread about "you playing around with an R8"? You have a history of wreckless, and misguided behavior when driving your car, and the funny thing is, you post about it on public forums.

As for your latest masterpiece, you're driving a BMW coupe, and you rolled down your window, and called his Mazda 3 a "POS" according to your own words. That's very douche like, and makes BMW drivers look like elitist, aristocratic, slime bags.

I think you're lucky all you got was a can to the face. He could've been armed, and agitated (especially by some snobby kid in a BMW), and just decided to shoot you in the face.

Nope can't say I do - Your memory is fading NS. There is NO R8 in this town nor have I ever made any post about even seeing one.
I guess you must be confusing me with someother individual you spend your valuable time following.. whatever.

People are elitist because they take care of their car and don't want it crashed??? wow..

I guess shooting someone at a redlight is common in SC. Even in texas it does not happen. Glad your right at home in the land of fruits and nuts.

This happens everywhere.

I'll let your ignorant comments about Southern California just be that, ignorance. Those who know anything about Irvine, CA know exactly what community this is, and it isn't one where people roll their windows down at stoplights to try and start trouble.
