My only argument against any Audi interior is their steering wheel...it's a little bit too thin..the one in the E9x M3 is perfect. But damn I love this car...must be a hell of a DD.

Ask those M3 guys, they tend to have a different opinion. Personally it's a GT not a sports coupe due to its heft. Of course it's a bit harsh, the car delivers plenty of sport I bet.

Seriously,

It one of the biggest complaints about the M3 steering wheel, may be the rest of us haven't as thick of a trouser snake as you obviously have.

How can you come to that conclusion, the list of stock cars which are quicker in a straight line is not very big (price taken into account) and this list reduces greatly when you include it's speed across country on public roads.

I don't disagree that the wrong engine was chosen for the job, though there were reasons behind that.

HAHA

Anyway, saw one yesterday. Full throttle on asphalt with ALOT of rain. Just kept on going, the quattro system has incredible traction and is a joy to watch live even though without undramatic!

I prefer the thick steering wheel in the m3. best steering wheel IMO. But e46 m3 steering wheel is no slouch, so I'm not complaining.

the rs5 steering wheel doesn't look too bad though. if it is the same as the s5, no complain from me either. a bit skinnier than the m3, but felt great.

best steering wheel on the market.....and always receives praise....nice and meaty!!!....the Audi steering wheel is too skinny...so it probably fits in your delicate hands better...LOL....kidding!

Guys if you think the Audi wheel is thin then you've never tried a Porsche wheel.

Dudeeee I'm asian... .. but seriously..I just thought it was a bit too thin for my liking ... I've had plenty of seat time with Audi and their steering wheels in my old B7 ..gone through several steering wheels..TT-S/RS4 and regular A4

The RS5 looks and sounds nice but I wish it had RS4's side skirts. It would also help differentiate between a S5 and this.
The other day, I saw this RS4 in front of me and Damn that car looks good. .

I also dont think its about how thin the Audi steering wheel as much as your silly claim (seems to be alot of them) regarding the M3 wheel.

Because even the R8 V8 is gutless and gets killed by sedans, Audi makes good looking cars but their performance is always lacking, other then the v10 R8 which is already a whole different category of a car.
