I completely agree with you. It does make you think "wow she's coming on a lil strong, maybe I should just back down". Then again, if she's cute/hot enough, I personally would give it a shot. Unless she's all like "let's go out for dinner and then a movie. Then we can go for a drink..." That's just fucking weird.

Why is that weird? Dude, if i was a guy i'd be all about a girl who was confident to come up to me and ask me out. Shit that must mean she wants me, enough for her to go out of her way and face rejection. That would show me she was outgoing, a risk taker and probably lots of fun.

Like you said "there's confidence and there's desperation". I think it's weird if a random chick comes up to me and asks me that. Im not talking about "u wanna go hang out sometimes?". If a girl is already so much into you that she's already asking you out for dinner, movie, drinks, etc. in one night, where is that gonna lead to? If you just wanna hump it and dump it, fine. But if she starts clinging on to you from the beginning, I think that will only lead to disaster.

Edit: just thought about it. I wasnt interested in the girls that did that. Hence the reason why it was weird. But thinking about it now, if a hot chick (someone I like) comes up to me and asks me out, I WOULD be all over it. Then again, no clingers please.

The only weird thing is that hot chicks get sausage offers 1000 times per day. When a guy says hi, opens a door for you, smiles, makes eye contact... any interaction whatsoever with a male translates to "Would you like some sausage?". Any guy that denies that is either gay or lying.

Knowing that, it is weird to have a good looking lady come up to you. It is weird, but don't get me wrong, it is most welcome

Talking's overrated... I was clubbing with my friends and dancing with this chick that I happened to "bump"

into. Easier play than going up like the rest of them and starting up conversation. Doods... let your hips and your jiggy attract their attention I say.

My point is later that night doing the same thing and a chick and her friends "bumped" into me and it was on.... the show and all

Gotta give any girl props (desperate or not) to come up and start conversatin'. I say go with the flow and

it up!

This isn't a "science"... "chemistry" between two people IMHO is "art." It's there or it isn't. Worry less about who's doing what and live for the moment man.
