New 328i Owner! Need Some Advice

So last weekend I picked up a CPO 2009 328i.
I attached a picture below.

However, there are a few (kind of) significant scratches on the front bumper that I want fixed. Looking at the close up picture, what do you guys think is a ballpark range that it would cost? I want it to look like nothing ever happened to the front bumper.

Best bet is to just get it repainted, theres a sponsor here doing a 200 dollar bumper promo but thats in NY. So I would think between 300-400 for a good paint job.

The scratches wrap around to the other side of the bumper a bit, but the part that I took a picture of is definitely the worst of it. Would 300 to 400 be for a full repaint of the entire bumper? Also, should I take it to a BMW dealer or a private body shop? Thanks!

Private body shop for sure, then again I find it funny they didn't repaint it before they CPO'd it, as thats quite obvious, but its not required for them to fix it. Look in your regional section on the forum, try to find a nice shop and you should be fine

I went to a private shop today. I was quoted $1,700 for the repair.... I feel like this is ridiculous. Can anybody recommend a place to go in Seattle? Thanks!

+1

Huge improvement to the look and it's cheaper. Plus you can do the install yourself and save on labor.

There's no way I'd spend that much to have it repaired if I could just get a new msport bumper for less

To repaint a bumper and fender, I cannot imagine paying more than $1K, and that is very high. In my area, I would expect to pay less than $500.
