330 to 325 branke conversion

so im setting my car up for rallyX and the smallest wheel size i can fit over my 330 is 17" i know 15'' is not possible but at least wanna do 16''s but since the brakes are bigger on the 330 has anyone tried to convert their brakes to 325xi's setup?

will it throw codes? cause issues etc?

I mean 335 brakes will bolt onto the 330. But why do you need 16" wheels? Is that a requirement for rallyx? Is it for weight savings?

There won't be codes and I'm almost positive you can swap them, PnP. But why give up the stopping power just to fit 16" wheels?

I like where you are headed with this! This should be a direct swap with functional e-brake when done. You could probabaly source some oem style 156 wheels (16x7) pretty cheap and you are racing using all oem parts. I sent you a PM...

I think some 16 inch wheels with an offset of 25-20 will be able to clear the E90 330i brakes. I'm considering doing it for mine in order to get a more comfortable ride. Such wheels are harder to find though. Otherwise spacers may be used.

No, it wont throw any code or have any issues. It's a direct bolt on. Once you have the 325xi brakes on you can put on the 16's. I actually have my set of 16's still lying around. I also will have a set of 325xi brakes sometime this spring when I put on a bbk. Let me know if you're interested.
