First time posting (been an avid reader for a long time). I will be picking up soon a 335d also in Deep Sea Blue. My 335 comes in the sports package with Dakota black leather. When I get the car, I'll be doing many upgrades. One upgrade in particular I'm looking into is adding Enkei's RAIJIN wheels. My friend had matte on his black 328i But I'm struggling to decide which finish I want.

Which of these do you guys think would look good on the 335 in dsb? It's a 2012.
LOL

May be thread jacked, but thought it was still relevant.

Congrats on your Car and Welcome to the Family !!

Deep Sea Blue is a head turner, Not a lot a BMWs are with that color ..

I have DSB 328xi sedan fully loaded and people always look at that color .. (Got a couple Compliments as well)

I went with
1.35% tint side, rear
2.VMR V701 Hyper Silver(Plastidipped Black/Glossified) with 18" 8.5/9.5 and 235/265 DWS
3. BMW performance Exhaust
4. Carbon Fiber Spoiler
5. Black Kidney Grills

The Car looks Amazing .. I will soon post pics on the forum

Only drawback of DSB is It feels to its true color when its sunny else a bit pale
Also needs a extra care .. make sure you car wash and wax it time to time ..

Can't wait to see the pics of your car iceberg87! Be sure to let me know when you post them! The deep sea blue truly seems like a rarity here in my area.

Mark a vote for gunmetal. I just had my wheels powdercoated and would have liked gunmetal, but thought it would be too little contrast to the Platinum Bronze I have so I went with satin black. On the DSB, I think gunmetal could look nice, but the risk is too many colors if you have black trim and black grill or other black highlights.

Those are very cool rims. Just would look a lot better in gunmetal or silver / before you go CSL like every man and his dog, i suggest you respray those first. Might like it and keep the ride nice and compliant. The look bigger than they are.

Ugh I wanted a deep sea blue e90 as well, but they're too rare with the packages I wanted! Beautiful man, congrats. Good choice

I had a 335d for some years and I loved it. I hope it'll bring you as much joy as it did me. Enjoy the new ride.
P.S. that's a cool colour combo!
