Sunoco Sheetz GetGo Exxon I don't really care who refines my gas, as long as the octane is OK. The stations are the ones most convenient between home and work, and are largely determined by the side of the road upon which I am driving. |

You could get lower octane gas in your E90 and never know it, as the computer just adjusts the timing and air/fuel ratio to adjust for it. But if I get even slightly lower octane fuel in my Mustang I get detonation because of the supercharger pushing 15psi into the engine.

76 because that's who I have an acct. with. If that's not available then I go Chevron. Very seldom do I use Shell.
For rental cars, I always go ARCO or the cheapest that I can find.

usually costco, since it's only two min from my house. if not costco, i try to find a chevron or a 76, but i'm not very picky.
