The only thing that concerns me with it is that nowadays, I'd be worried that she would commit suicide after seeing this video because her life is "so hard" and "so unfair."

The thing is, a lot of people say that she learns her behavior from him. While I agree that's partially true, with the way the internet and media is today, it's impossible to really control what your kids are seeing on a daily basis, so they learn a lot from outside sources that you can't filter unless you're a stay at home parent, so I give him the benefit of the doubt that not all of the disrespectful garbage spewing from her mouth (or fingers tapping the keyboard) came from him, but I'm sure some of it did.

Are you serious?

I think the dad told his daughter what would happen if she did it again, she did and he did what he said he would.

I can almost guarantee that 10 years from now, when they are at a family dinner they will all laugh about this and she (the daughter) will agree that it was the right thing to do at the time. There is always multiple ways to do things, some more extreme then others, but he is the parent. If more parents acted like this, kids these days would start to RESPECT there parents again, which they have (for the most part) stopped doing these days.

Sometimes you have to prove your point and it seems the dad has tried multiple ways to get it across to his daughter, Im sure this got the point across.

Yes, I'm serious.

Kids today have such thin skin. Everything is unfair and hard for them.

I am not saying I disagree with him and what he did, I applaud it. But I still think that kids today are way too soft, and if she thought life was already too hard because she had to do some chores around the house, then she'll probably go even more overboard now that daddy popped a few .45 rounds into her beloved laptop.

Do some research... the girl got over it in 24 hours.. I normally side with understanding and attention for children.. but in this case I agree with the parents course of action 100%.

The father even offered to let his daughter make a reaction video. But she said she was over it and understood what she did wasn't right. He taught his daughter a very very valuable lesson about authority and responsibility. She was forced to learn it the hard way. But she will be stronger for it. This will force her to be more diligent in school because she won't have any outside influences for the foreseeable future.

She seems like a girl going through a rebellious stage in her life. Her friends probably don't have chores and she does, which doesn't make sense to her. It will now. I guarantee she grows up to be a better person than her friends that don't have chores and bad mouth their parents.

So, I say, good for him and most of all good for her.

I agree with what he did, but he's enabling the behavior so it's just a vicious cycle.

Like I said, I agree with him, but I still think the majority of kids today are spoiled little fuckers.
