Question Decent speakers and/or sub for garage?

Moved the speakers I used to use in there to the basement so now I need new speakers for the garage.

Looking some bookshelf style or something inexpensive. Maybe a sub too.

I don't need to blow anyone's eardrums with this system. Some decent sound at a inexpensive price is the goal.

I had a Logitech surround system that I used in our old garage that sounds great. You can get it pretty cheap at Best Buy for around $70. Comes with a sub and it really pounds for what you pay.

I have an Altec Lansing IM7 hooked up to an Airport Express. Works perfect.

I have an older X series 5.1 Logitech that I bought in ~2005 for about the same price the new stuff goes for today. To this day they still kick ass. I second this one.

I picked up a similar factory refurbed logitech set up for about $100 a few years back. I tried it in the garage - worked beyond great, excellent highs and the sub level and overall volume was controllable on the dial - actually ended up using it in my living room for the flat screen as it sounded so nice and with no actual direct wiring, I simply plugged the system into the headphone jacks on my phone and/or tv. And the 200 watts is more than plenty of juice in a garage or direct line sound in your living room.

Heh, I use mine in my living room now with the 65''.

Needless to say, the neighbors probably think its WW3 in my apartment if I play Call of Duty.

I had these as my computer speakers for years until one of the speakers went out. Sold them on Craigslist and bought some Z-623s. Also very good!

Absolutely! For about $150 bucks or less (new), Logitech has some pretty amazing products.

I've actually never used Logitech for official computer speakers - always in the garage, for game play or movie watching in the living room.

Won't work for me. Sub has to have RCA connection & speakers your standard speaker wire. That's how they will be connected to my receiver.

I just went with a set of surround Altec Lansing PC Speakers w/sub and a BT Receiver.

Sounds good and no worries about them getting damaged or dirty.
