Good example on how a dominant team can still make for exciting racing. As long as Rosberg can keep his motivation and keep chipping away and try to find extra speed we fans can still look forward to good racing. Hamilton will make the odd mistakes now and then. I like HAM better but good racing always trumps who wins for me. But bloody hell are those Benzs dominant. Ferrari and Kimi was lapped...crazy.

Maybe I'm not part of the majority but this season is already becoming uninteresting.

30+ second advantage? Bravo but makes for quick lack of interest.

Yeah...could really do with a picture thread and a separate comments thread...it takes so long to load I don't normally bother opening this.

Depends if you are a Red Bull fan or not.

What's interesting is the fact that Lewis had used over 4kgs less fuel than pretty much everyone else behind him. Meaning he could have turned up the 'wick' if he had wanted to and gone even faster earlier on when his tyres were fresh.

On the other words, on tracks like this, its more tire dominant/restrictive circuit.
We will see fuel quantity being the limit on tracks like Montreal or Spa. Where there's more time on full throttle than brake-coast-turn.

Being out in front with clean air usually saves a lot of fuel.

All true, I'm just speculating that since he had fuel in 'reserve' compared to just about everyone else, he could have upped the flow rate and put more distance between himself and Nico when on fresh tyres if he wanted to.

Monaco up next....hmmm....Mercedes Pole, again, by 2 seconds?

It's been a strange season. Good to see VET getting his share of gremlins as of late and some new blood in the top tier. Especially good to see Williams scoring some points as well. BUT, if Ferrari and/or RedBull don't move soon in time warps of development, AMG is about to walk away with it...IMHO...TBC...

It was a good race. Nice to see AMG win again.

You'd think they would want to talk about how he fought all the way to 4th from way behind...

Those late breaking passes into turn 10 were impressive.

Doesn't seem like the Mercedes exhaust trumpet really made much difference on the noise front...

What's the next likely idea?

It's relatively simple. Keep the megaphone and bolt a V-10 to it....
