I know it's a blatant marketing opportunity to get people through the door

I've booked in Elms Cambridge for 12.30 on Sat 31 May - what about you?
The Mrs wants a test drive of a 1er to replace her crappy Jag

I got one too, I presume it is just a chance to say how bad your current car is and to buy an ED BMW instead

Think so - at least for the time being - new house etc! I've got a warranty on mine now so feel a little easier running it.

Carlos, I think you should go into the dealers on Saturday and say

'I'm running me big 335 denzil and getting about 17mpg out of it - please talk to me about efficient dynamics'

Apologies to OP for this OT chat

Yes - looking at a 6 bedroom at the moment. The market is slow and I would have thought a good time to buy if you are a first time buyer like yourself.

I think Carlos should pop into a stealer outside Essex to see what their response is to that.

Haven't had anything yet, but there's been a steady flow of cars through the sign writers on the same trade park as us getting efficient dynamics vinyls all down the side.

I spoke to them to see what it was all about. They put your car through 6 tests (whatever they are), the idea is that you go for a test drive whilst they look at your car, they then compare the figures of your car against the new one you've just driven for mpg/co2/etc. Of course a new car will be better - doh.

One test was just the tyre pressure - wrong pressure (your car; probably) versus correct pressure (new car), etc.

I wondered whether they would correct, or make recommendations, depending upon what they found however that's not the idea behind it - it's just an elaborate plan to shift new motors.
