New mods for my E90

Finally got around to uploading some pictures of my first mods to my E90

Painted Splitters for OEM bumper - from ebay
Before:

After:

-They're a perfect match color-wise, the fit is reasonably flush and snug, but could be better. I think I just need to spend some more time one afternoon (when there isn't so much football on TV) taping up the problem spots to make them sit a bit more flush. I just have it on w/ the screws at this point. Once I get the time for that, I'll post some close-up shots!

And here is the OE Burl Walnut AT Shift knob, may not be a crowd pleaser for the sport trim folks on here, but I prefer the classy-look over sport when it comes to the interior

I also have some Matte black kidneys on the way from JBSpeed, will update pics when they come in

splitters make the front so much better! you are being different going with walnut shifter. most people wrap the interior to get rid of the shiny fake wood.

Yupp, definitely deviating from the road most travelled here on the forum. I've always been fond of the faux burl walnut. I had it in my e46 323i and I was taken aback to see that shiny silver shift knob every time I got in the car!

New wheels

Finally got rid of those horrible stock 156's and picked up a set of 162's from el_capitan on here. Definitely gives the car a totally different look. Sitting on Bilstein B8's with Eibach pro-kit springs and spaced out w/ H&R Trak 12mm spacers up front and 20mm in the rear. I think I'm satisfied....for now

Any reason why you decided to order a set of black kidneys over doing it yourself? Probably the easiest mod to do.

Splitters are looking good, prepainted?

Yupp pre-painted splitters. I got the black kidneys so I could keep the stock "chrome" ones intact in case I changed my mind later on.

Nice job! It's those little things that can really spruce up the car-the splitters really did a lot to the front. Even though you have 330i rims, they're good looking and you pushed them out with spacers. Nice drop too.

Keep it up!

Oh yeah, can't really fully tell, but it looks like you're over in Canton?
