Beat the fuck out of your friend, take his dignity, and cook him a real steak.

Did a grown man just take pictures of his steak dinner?

I guess you just get accustomed to what the other half considers "the finer things in life" when it becomes routine. But hey...I remember my first rodeo, too.

Did you check in on Facebook, too? Gotta show off that one time every few months you go to a nice place...

I take pictures of food for threads like these.....

e90post is not the only forum that had a dedicated foodie thread....

if you go back through the foodie thread, you'll see I've posted all kinds of shit from premier steaks to Cookie Crisp cereal....

but I still thought your post was cute and borderline riveting...

post again !!!!

+1 - (bone in ribeye, with salt and pepper) but I just sear it on the grill. I'll coat it with an olive oil and get the coals up to 500 degrees on the Weber.

What kind of salt do you use? My local supermarket has a selection of over 20 different kinds of salts in the bulk section. I've been experimenting with different kinds of salt when making my steaks and it makes a nice difference.

Now-a-days - cracked sea salt, set to a medium grind. My wife bought me a Himalayan pink sea salt...but I can't taste the difference over regular Mediterranean sea salt. I tried Kosher - but it's a little too fine for me.

Alae sea salt, Malabar black pepper and Kiawe charcoal from Hawaii is best for grilling steaks. Bone in ribeye is hard to beat.
