At the heart of the matter for me is the fact that many eye witnesses said that Brown had his hands up and he was still killed. A very small number of people witnessed the actual shooting - far less than appeared on TV as "eye witnesses". A guy punching a police officer and trying to grab his weapon after strong-arm robbing a convenience store for blunt wraps is not the same thing as an "unarmed man surrendering". This was a criminal in the midst of numerous crimes who was not surrendering, according to the actual witnesses and the forensic evidence.

Because in the midst of all the negativity going on, two of the largest black gang members have come together for a greater cause than their own mission. They are standing together to stop the rioting and looting of their own people. There are plenty more images of this floating around, but that does not get ratings up, that's not confrontational, that won't cause a thread to be made on e90post, nobody really cares about the good being done in the midst of a storm.

I think i understand the core of your message here and agree that it would be awesome if the two worst gangs in the country putting aside their differences would be fantastic.

However, I suppose i would question why two rival gang members, putting their own illegal agendas aside for an evening is such an important image. I think i and many other people in this country would just rather them renounce their troublesome, thieving, drug pedaling, murderous gangs from this point on.

Their gangs are responsible for more deaths of black males than all police forces in the U.S. combined.

Are the behavioral expectations of some citizens so low, that two notorious, likely murderous, gang bangers putting aside their normal illegal activities for an evening is the "good" amongst the insanity?

BLACK person got shot by a WHITE Police Officer! Then BAM the whole community goes crazy! Forget the reason behind it and twist everything!

I am not saying that racism doesn't exists it does exists around the WORLD! I'm sure there are news too about about an Asian/Latino/White unarmed person getting shot but it just doesn't get the sensation the media and people look for!

On Wednesday, some cunts decided that a good way to protest would be to sit on the freeway. I was stuck in traffic trying to get to a meeting. A commute otherwise would have taken 20 minutes took more than an hour. After all that, all that they accomplished was tag some obscenity about the police on the freeway. Really? If you are going to do something stupid, don't let your misguided idiocy affect my life. Fucking arrogance of these people.

What is it about a riot that brings these idiots together so well? sense of belonging? being part of a cause? Is it just an excuse for people to act like idiots? Is it an outlet for them to act out their own frustration with their life? Is it a cool thing to do? It just seems like people are just attracted to lawlessness.

Lot of these protestors don't seem to be very educated about the case either. They pick and choose whatever outrageous statement they read on twitter and base their stance from them. Do they even know what they are rioting about? Do they even know what they want? People are so quick to just go out and rally around no real purpose but not take the time to educate themselves about the issues.

I understand there is a real issue here people are fighting about. Some people have legitimate reason to be angry. Some people are trying to bring about real change that is needed. I am all for them but these dickless assholes who watched Denzel Washington in Malcolm X thinking acting a fool is cool are not helping the cause.

People were protesting today, on "Black" Friday. The reporter asked one of the protestors and he said something along the line of "black lives matter and people should boycott black Friday."

I didn't want to judge too much as I'm sure they have a reason for protesting. But what I saw on TV was just too much. Protestors took to shopping malls and laid on the floor trying to prove a point. People chained themselves to subway trains to prove a point. Businesses got burned down because they were proving a point. All I see is people being frustrated and affected by those protests. I don't see a point in anything they do besides causing damages and hassle to others.

While covering the protests, a St. Louis news crew came upon a chaotic scene in a parking lot.

An elderly man dependent on oxygen was reportedly attacked and run over during a car jacking in the parking lot of Faraci Pizza on Florissant in Ferguson.

In the video, you can hear witnesses tell the news reporter an elderly male was attacked, car jacked, and then run over with his own car.

One witness said the unidentified victim went to his car to get his new oxygen tank when the thugs attacked him with it.
