So I'm taking summer classes for any courses that I skipped. For example I'm taking second semester freshmen English Lit, and a lower level American history class. Well I'm on day four of my History class, and wow this bitch is dumb. I'd get more out of funnyordie.com's Drunk History, than her lectures. She is trying to teach us about James towne, but she is just rambling like a teenage girl, and has not said one single fact, like they were granted 6,000 acres by Crown, etc.

I'm about to stab myself. Anyone ever had a substandard professor?

True, but the institution in question also has a lot to do with it. My final year at Arizona I took 5 summer classes. 4 were taught by PHD students, and 1 was taught by the fucking dept. head. That guy was a badass. Out of the PHD students, 2 were excellent, 1 was meh, and the other was pretty bad, but in his defense, it was his first time ever teaching, and he was just thrown the class after whoever was supposed to teach it bailed.

Summer classes at community college though? I'd be suspect of what type of teaching talent they have, for example my sister is taking a class and one of her teachers uses "sez" instead of "says" in the notes...

I went undergrad to Auburn, and now I'm at Georgia.

My professor for my finance class I'm taking now is incredible. He's worked on wall street for decades, written numerous books with Nobel Prize winners. He's a little weird though, but he just doesn't give a fuck what the department thinks of him.

I've never had an unintelligent professor. I've had plenty, whom I didn't like, or I thought they were bad professors, but none that are just unintelligent.

Yes I had a Physics professor that was a re-tard. He tried to tell me that the smeared out density of matter is greater than that of the original matter itself divided by 3.14 and squared to the N and inverted, then mulitiplied by moores law. I laughed for ages at his insanity.

No in all seriousness I have had some really poor teachers but that was at my community college I went to a long time ago.
