Hey guys, I'm going to delete my resonator and need a Y pipe. Only problem is my cars too low for me to get under it.

I tried to search but I found the inlets should be 2" while outlet should be 2.5"

Is this correct so I can order it off ebay or something

It's coming in tomorrow so hopefully I can install it if it delivers before noon at the house. But it's a magnaflow one for $30 so I'm not too worried I'll make it fit for that price lol

I have a burns stainless Y pipe for sale - $150. It's a high quality/performance merge collector, I would recommend using it AFTER the exhaust manifold and bolting the exhaust to it.

Dual 2 inch in, and 3 inches out.

welds looks decent. Dropping our exhaust is always fun. Are you just cutting and clamping or can you weld?

I'm taking it to my muffler guy, he'll cut the resonator and weld this in with some pipes

cool. Too lazy to search but whats your current setup like? I have no secondary and no muffler, dump right behind the axel. Im curious to see how it will sound without resonator too.

I'm running performance exhaust only everything else is stock.

I had a muffler delete but I couldn't handle the highway drone so bought a PE muffler only. With the resonator delete I'll see how it changes for better or worse. Then I'll start looking into cats and headers.

That will probably sound good, still conservative but closer to the full PE. post a video later if you can.

good thing my gf likes loud cars. my car rumbles the change in my ash tray on startup and low rpm under load. Kind of stupid but

Totally understand but with 150-300 miles a day it gets it irritating at the end of the day haha

Is this on the stock exhaust? Just a resonator delete, right?

If you don't have to deal with regulations, you should delete the second cats and see what that sounds like with the resonator delete on the stock muffler. I think a lot of people are waiting for someone to do that so we can hear what it sounds like.

I'm running an oem performance exhaust muffler now I just put in the custom y pipe. It's pretty damn loud so I'll wait a month and see what I wanna do. Maybe those AFE headers
