they raised the prices about a year or two ago, due to raising costs of milk.

but i recently switched to iced tea... i don't think they will be able to raise the price of unsweetened iced tea, and blame it on the price of water. haha

yeah, they said they were going to raise the prices for "high-end" drinks, but will lower the prices for regular coffee. check it next time!

Last time I checked, Starbuck's paid their employees better wages, with better benefits, than either McDonkey's or Dunkin' Dognuts. That overhead directly translates into higher prices for the product. Also, Starbuck's has less turnover than McDonkey's, at least around me. The quality of the drink I get is far better and more consistent at Starbuck's than at a McCafe.
