Review: Dtec E90 Lci Halogen Angel Eyes
Hi there, I just bought and installed these: http://www.e92-lighting.com/products...V1-1211-0.html
I was originally going to buy some cheap RD LEDs, but I decided to go for this since it was 10w. This is what came inside. I thought the hand drivers were pretty useful. Pretty much all I did was take off the wheel liner and did a simple install. The lights... very good build quality. They felt very solid. I actually managed to get my hands on some RD LEDs and they were complete crap; plastic body painted chrome. The dtecs actually have a heat sink. Here are pictures of what they look like installed: I took the first picture around 4pm in California with quite a bit of sun out. My thoughts on these are that these are pretty good quality for the price. It's bright as well, but I have nothing to compare it to other than the stock. I wish I snapped a picture at night time with one side halogen and the other side the 10w LEDs, but the LEDs are noticeable brighter (not just whiter). Overall I would say I'm satisfied with this purchase. Last edited by uber; 03-31-2013 at 03:49 PM.. |

I just installed mine - here are some comparison pics with the original halogens...
side-by-side: new close: old close: different ISO levels: It would be nice if they were a bit brighter, but they are much better than stock!

Info on flicker, how does the light turn on/off (compared to gradual on/off in OEM), radio buzzing or line-in buzz ?
This is considerably cheaper than mtec v4, anybody has an idea of how it compares ? |
