Going To Las Vegas soon...

Im staying at the RIO and i'm only going to be there for three days.
im only 19 and i want to know whats there?
i know i cant go clubbing or anything fun, but i want to make the most of it anyways.

any place worth visiting such as shopping centers (or any locations of H&M, urban outfitters, Buffalo Exchange), BOMB ASS Buffets, and anything fun to do.

thanks

If you are driving, I suggest a radar detector!

FYI there are a few 18+ clubs in Vegas. I dont know if they are any good though...

just went there a month ago... went to watch two cirque du soleil shows... they were really good... very worth while. my fav restaurant is wolfgang puck's bar and grill at the MGM... its not too expensive (about $30/person before taxes and tip) and has good food for the money.

getting away with a fake ID or someone else's ID in vegas is pretty easy. there are tons and tons of different IDs floating around in vegas that they probably can't even tell whats real and whats fake at first glance.

i think there are some 18+ bars/clubs a little off the strip.

thanks guys. i'll definitely look into a fake id or find somebody that looks like me. haha.

thanks for the suggestion. and im definitely driving there. i was kinda scared because open roads in vegas, long strips on the way = 90 mph+ driving but i'll try to control myself. my cousin lives in vegas and has e92 335. and so far 5 speeding tickets and counting -_-
IM HELLA LOOKING FORWARD DRIVING IN THE MOUNTAIN ON THE WAY THERE
im looking forward to the buffets tho. my cousin works at the wynn but ill definitely ask about that one mention .:bHD:.

what about the shopping centers? i know theres an outlet on the way and i'll hit that up forshure. im wondering if theres any forever21, urban outfitters, h&m, and buffalo exchange cus im goin there with friends: ages 18, 19, 20, 21, and thats where they usually shop.

first night tho, strip clubs DD

Check out Boa steak, Ruth's Chris or Del Frisco's if you want steak. I would have to say that the second time I went to Del Frisco I was a little disappointed (wasn't as good as I remembered). Then again I think it depends on what you order.

Here's what I would do (assuming you arrive in the afternoon or at night on the first day).

Day one: check out the city at night- watch the water show at Bellagio and the pirate show at Treasure Island. There are also things like the volcano at the Mirage. You can then go eat at the Wynn buffet.

Day two: check out the city in the day time. This means actually going into the hotels and all that stuff. This should take up most of your day. At night you can catch the Lance Burton magic show at the Monte Carlo or any other show that people under 21 can actually get into. You can then check out one of the restaurants I mentioned above. Of course you can always eat first and then go watch the magic show.
Checking out all the hotels and stuff will take you a whole day (at night there are shows and stuff too).

Day 3: there's the Hoover Dam near by that you can visit. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get there (you can find directions at the concierge desk). When you get back you could check out the swimming pool at the Hard Rock hotel. Depending on the day, there might be a ton of chicks there for you to check out. At night you can go eat and catch another show if you like or you can simply go check out the shopping malls there.

As for speeding, unless you go about 95-100mph, it's not going to get you there that much quicker so I would say keep it at about 80 or below. Seriously just put it on cruise and just cruise it. Remember that if you are required to appear in court, you have to go back to the county where you got your ticket in.

I was there twice last year and here's what I recommend...

Buffet:
- Wynn
- Bellagio
(Rio Village Seafood buffet is ok, not as good quality compared to the two above. For dinner you might need to go and line up early.)

Shopping:
- Forum Shops at Caesars Palace (expensive stuff)
- Fashion Show Mall (normal stuff and some expensive stuff)
- Bellagio
- Canal Shops at Venetian
- There are some outlets but I didn't go

Free shows:
- Bellagio fountain show (every 15 minutes)
- TI Sirens show
- Mirage volcano

Cirque shows:
- KA at MGM
- O at Bellagio
(I also saw Mystere at TI and it kinda sucked, but it's a matter of personal taste I guess.)

(BMW_E90's suggestions are good.)

I just went to Vegas a couple of weeks ago, and man that drive up there was fun.

There was a point where we set cruise to 125 for just over a half hour... then we stopped for lunch and gas, and when we got back on the highway we passed all of the same cars again haha!!

Have fun, and be safe.

there's a million girls in vegas. you can prob find one or two that aren't complete skanks (unless you're into that sorta thing).

not being 21 sucks, and vegas isn't the best place unless you've got an ID that says otherwise, but i've gotta be honest, there's still some really tight shite there. good food and awesome hotels.

If you get a Fake ... stay away from clubs ... it will get taken. Instead go to the 10,000 bars and lounges.

Check out the Circ shows, or the indoor skydiving

LOTS & LOTS of shopping if your into clothes

Cool indoor Karting track next to Palms

and thats about it for the under 21 crowd
