Talking FBO + E50 Dyno

I had my car proTUNED via dyno by Jake@PTF recently; the dyno sheet is below. This is with my turbos not hitting boost until low-mid 3K RPM(I think?) and with a minor boost leak (I think?). I'll be replacing the turbos, strapping on the Aquamist HFS-4 kit, and then hitting the dyno again. It was 90+ degrees that day, so it'll definitely be a lot cooler when I re-dyno.

(I'll post logs when I get them. Jake's been in the process of moving, and I'm not in a rush to get them.)

Modifications:
BMS OCC
BMS LTT
BMS DCI
HPF FMIC
ER CP w/HKS SSQV 4 BOV
AR DPs (Catless)
Vanguard v2 Exhaust (Catless)
Walbro 255LPH LPFP
Alpina B3 TCU Flash

Thanks sir! I saw your dyno; impressive as well. I'm gonna' try to iron out the kinks with my turbos and boost leak; hopefully push just a tad bit more.

The fact that it was 90+ degrees probably didn't help either.

Yeah, I wasn't hitting boost until mid-3K for the most part. I think I'm supposed to hit it around mid-2K? That's a substantial amount of room to build more power.

I know it shouldn't affect it too much, but I was on stock 189s with all-seasons. I'll be putting on some new wheels (19 lbs) and tires (Extreme Summer Performance) before I re-dyno, so that should also help out a little bit.

This is true.
Were you hitting approximately 18.5 around 4k RPM's?

To be honest, I'm not quite sure. I think I was around 17.9 PSI peak? I'll have to wait for the logs to double-check.

That's close. I usually hit around 18.2-18.5 on my E45 map.

Moore's dyno day in November should be a lot cooler. It was actually pretty cool in the morning while we were setting up the dyno, but by 10-11AM it was already 90+ degrees (WTFBBQ?). I'm hopeful that I'll have the Aquamist HFS-4 kit installed by then.

I'll need new wheels and tires before I run with you two; 189s with all-seasons.

(I'm really looking forward to new turbos though; it'll basically be a new car with the prior 50K maintenance I had done.)

new wheels wont really affect dyno too much. If you get larger diameter you will actually lose power (on the dyno)

Any ideas as to where your boost leak might be coming from? I was having a similar issue and not hitting boost till around 3k just like yourself, but it turned out to be my leaky stock dv's. Maybe vacuum lines?

Yeah, but your wheels are far from 189s.

Well, that sucks. I'm definitely getting 19s; have to have some show with the go. (I might get 18" TE37s if I'm able to find a car that has them in person to chheck them out)

I have no idea. I had my vacuum lines replaced today, so I'll double-check. I'm also putting a new CP (long version), so hopefully that'll fix a problem if it was relating to that connection.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't not hitting boost until low-mid 3K more of a problem with the turbos than it is a boost leak? (Excuse the level of newbness if it's shown)
