ever considered starring in a 27 minute movie of a more graphic nature? pays good, and is hella fun.

Being completely serious...list the walmart job...it shows that you are reasonable and down to earth and are real...no one wants to hire a wanna be or a phony..
A very easy and personally rewarding job (that will buy you a lifetime of good will) is to work as an aid for someone who is disabled. People that are quadraplegic or suffering with muscular dystrophy need help. On a practical level...you help them out of bed...get dressed, shower, some personal care...hang out, run errands and just be a decent, reliable person...easy money...and you will be a better person for it...and it looks great on applications...just my .04 (inflation you know )

When I was in high school I worked at a lazer tag place. It was the most fun I had in ages! The pay sucked but it was like getting paid to hang out.
During college, I was working as a waiter during the summer. Not as much fun. But I was able to pull in about $300 tax free on most nights. Not bad for a summer job and a couple hours a day. Good oppurtunity to meet "people" too.

Going to transfer a good majority of my account to a forex managed account that should net me 7-10% a month. Then transferring a bit into a smaller self managed forex account to trade 24/7, whenever I have the time. I guess you don't know how boring trading stocks is?? -___- I want a job so that I can meet new people, and have something to do during the day.. Me and my friends usually don't do anything until after 3:00, and I don't feel like sitting around the house all day. -Nathan

Something to get you outside, with good exercise.
Landscaping. I did landscape construction for 3 summers, during high school. Paving driveways, flagstone patios, wood and rock retaining walls, new lawns. Worked with friends - drunk every night, hungover every morning. One of my 2 bosses was absolutely manic, crazy stuff, incredible temper. You'll work with some interesting people. My associates for 2 summers included an ex-con (armed robbery), heroin addict (operated the heavy machinery), and an illiterate alcoholic 42 year old (had his first kid at age 11). Opened my sheltered eyes to the real world, a real motivator. My friends and I actually had a lot of fun working with these guys. |

Landscaping/construction can be fun and good paying - but its not easy! The OP is looking for an easy job. I would say go for a Valet company. I did that for a year in Boston. You get to do what you love - drive fast cars, (carefully of course ) and if you hustle, the tips are excellent. Not your typical 7-5 job, but certainly an easy/fun one

Apply for a front desk position at a hotel. Easy job, better than min wage pay (most places = $8-9/hr). Just sit there and basically do nothing unless it's a wknd morning. It also looks better on a resume than some of the other positions mentioned, but it's not exactly "fun."

My job at walmart and Rain for Rent were pretty much the same as far as people go. At walmart I worked with a coke head, a drug dealer, a hillbilly, a guy that constantly talked about having butt sex with women everywhere, and etc.. The coke head would do coke off the toilets in the bathrooms on his break, or get high with the drug dealer. Then a bunch of random ass 30+ year olds at rain for rent that had endless stories, and all came from a different background. Quote:
My friend did that in Austin last summer, but I don't think I would meet many people with that job. Quote:

But in all seriousness, a job that will allow you to interact with people....have you thought about maybe sales? A friend of mine used to be a Calgon man sales guy, he made good coinage.
