Don't jump to conclusions there buddy. yeah my dad helped me buy my 3rd car when I was 17 big deal(jealous much?). but believe me I paid for a majority of it. As for mods 100% my money. and I have just about half the worth of your car into in modifications and can probably train lengths on you Never taken my car to the dealer and perform all the work my self. and made a living out of it. and if I ever want to stop working Its back to working for daddy and daddy's money. got about a year left with premed then moving to med school then ill be leeching off daddys money with school being paid for with my grades.
people on this forum really need to chill it with age shit its getting annoying.
ur about 5 years older than me... in 5 years when im your age. ill be making 6 figures easy. im 19 almost done with pre-med. anesthesiologist when im 25-26.
I'm a year younger than this douchebag and I know you can't be a full fledged doctor by "25-26". To the douchebag, you might wanna rethink that statement.
4 years undergrad. (3 if you're a hardworking douchebag)
4 years medical school
Residency (length depends on your field)
Fellowship(Your field determines if you have to do this)

At BEST, you'll be 28-29 as an unspecialized physician.

I live off "daddys money" too, but I don't go around Internet forums trying to make myself sound cool...you have a pretty severe case of LDS (Little Dick Syndrome).

I agree with one thing you said. Some people here are dicks about age, but that's like 2% of the people here. The rest are pretty respectful people. No need to start measuring dicks the moment you feel threatened.

^ he said anesthesiologist (which i think you can be one once you get an md). and isn't med school 3 years?

i live off "daddy's money" too, though i am a part of the family biz... so really how people see it says more about them than me. call me black, but i'd rather throw money at someone than pull out my peepee (not that it's a point of shame ahem)

No, med school is 4 years. Two years classroom, two years rotations. Anesthesiology is a specialization, which is a 4 year residency. If you wanna specialize even more, then you can do another 1-3 years for a fellowship.

Currently in college, so I have an apartment (but a pretty nice one!)

Could post my parents house I guess (since I technically live there when I'm home from school)... but I don't think they would want that on the internet...
They live right off Beverly Glen in little Holmby Hills, a couple blocks from Beverly Hills. Not on the side where the playboy mansion and Spelling mansion are, but across the street, on the other side of the park

Why is it taking them so long to build? There is a 6,400 Sqft home going up down the street, they broke ground May 1st and they are already putting sheet rock up inside. Doors and windows are complete etc... Just curious...

For all the changes your wife has made to the build, you should have said, "well then I should get a 3 car garage."

A third car garage is in the works, the builders and I disagreed on location and price for the third car so I am going to have someone else come in and build the third car afterwords. I was quoted 20K by initial builder, a good friend and contractor can get it done for 14K so I would rather pay for that instead of rolling it into my mortgage. Biggest thing i've learned building a somewhat custom home is appraisals! were just over 412,000 and a similar one just closed down the street at 392,000. If we bump up too much we may not appraise for enough and have to owe at closing. fun fun!

P.S. don't get it wrong, my wife is the biggest car nut out there she wants a third car garage almost more then I do!

It sucks but it's true about change orders, the builder really sticks it to you. We rode our builder 24/7 to make sure he didn't go over budget. He owed us at the end!!

Mill Ave is great, but I'm 29 and I'm getting a bit too old for the 21-24 year old girls so I'm moving out of here (heading to San diego) in a week.

I had my fun, but it's time to move on.

AZ is still fairly cheap even with low interest rates artificially propping up prices. If your buddy got a place right off Mill Ave for $280k, he probably already has equity.
