Help on wheel sizes for 335xi please

looking at some csl reps with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19
the offsets are 40 (Front) 22 rear
will this work on my 08 335xi that is not lowered yet? and when i do lower what will i need to do?

The tyre combo is over the xdrive recommended 1%. Rear offset with that 275 tyre will cause you rubbing issues. Especially after lowering, but fender roll would fix that. I assume you have E90? Because E92 is different case.

If you really want to get these i would change the front to 235/35/19 and add 12mm spacer and then lower it with fender roll to rear. Also assuming that the wheels are 19x8.5 et40 and 19x9.5 et22.

yes they are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5
So basically i should pass on it as i would have to buy a new set of fronts.

Yeah pretty much. I know some xdrive drivers use that combo without issues, but i wouldn't take risk since there are better tyre combos available.

weird how some can get away with it and not screw their transfer case and some cant..
