335D shake and noise at idle

Hey guys, I just bought a 2011 335d. The car has been deleted and is stage 2.5. The car has developed a terrible noise at idle. It almost sounds like a pump cavitating. The noise is coming from right around the power steering pump area. But I can see the belt vibrating off the alternator so maybe a bad alternator? Next thing is checking voltage at idle. Harmonic balancer on it's way out? Good guess if it's never been replaced.
