Unreal. My friend is actually looking at purchasing the Challenger Hellcat. He was happy with 'over 600hp' lol.

However, I am sure pricing has settled down a bit since it has been on sale for awhile now. Funny thing is buying new and MSRP has always been considered a rip off, now people think its a good deal.

In a couple years the resale on the Vette is going to be scary what people lose in money. Especially when everyone starts to look at the new Z06 with 650 HP relative to the base models. Just like the M3 I bought..sticker on my car in 2011 was 75k...bought it last year in 2013 for 54k with only 9k miles....someone lost 21k on that deal. Ouch....
I was asking Westside Chevy about the C7 last year before they came out, and they were willing to do MSRP and had early allocations available at that time.

But knowing how the Vette's price will drop below MSRP or even invoice in the 2nd or 3rd year (Friend of mine bought a 2012 Z06 Centennial Edition with Z07 and Carbon Ceramic for quite below invoice), it was not a wise decision. You lose money as the car ages and at the same time as the market price drop, taking the hit twice was not something I wanted to do at that time.

Plus I got a pretty good deal on my E92

Well it's a definitely going to be bonafide musclecar in the sense that its straight line performance will completely outclass its ability to corner and brake.

That's going to be one hell of a fun toy.

My guess for the Hell Cat is probably gonna be around $61K base, highly equipped from factory, but you will be able to add some options and bring the car to $65K~.

But being a Chrysler you should have no problem getting the car for 10% less than MSRP a few months after released, and even more if you shop around or wait.
