With some restaurants banning children, a real version of this (minus the on-board daycare/prison) might not be too far away.

Interesting move on Westjets part. i think the first airline to restrict children in a specific cabin was Malaysia Airways in 2011, no children in First Class. And they also banned children under the age of 12 in their upper deck economy class on the a380.

It is interesting, here in Mexico Interjet designated one of the bathrooms exclusively for women, they painted the door pink and I thought it was a good idea, but this is even better,.... perhaps combined.

That's just stupid. Whether a kid behaves or not depends highly on the kid and the parents. Our kids under 6 have flown first class domestic and international business class with zero problems/disturbances.
