Awesome that this guy created the gas hybrid system, but this just further highlights the issue with being strictly electric for long distance travel is problematic at worst and inconvenient at best.

If Tesla makes a hybrid car or even a 100% ICE car people would buy it bc Tesla has marketed itself as a high end brand.

I seriously wonder how many Tesla owners are concerned about environmental damage or their carbon footprint as the reason for buying the car.

Musk won't even use Radar for self drive, refuses head up display or dash cluster ... he ain't not putting a gas engine in there lol

Leave that to Toyota and Honda, not sure where Kia and Hyundai are heading but the rest of the makers inc US ones seem to be moving to electric only

Unless hydrogen makes some inroads or something else is invented ...
