hey guys

A while ago my both my headlights went out so I changed the bulbs and it still didnt work so I got new ballasts for each side. Passenger side worked after changing the ballast but the driver side still didnt work. Swapped the ballasts with the passenger side and passenger was still working but driver side wasnt coming on.

Checked fuses in the glovebox and it was fine, so concluded its a short in the FRM. Went to my mates shop and he tried turning the lights on via the Autologic ODBII thing and they came on. Reset the short in the FRM and YAY!!! it works!!! drove around that day and night so happy that I had fixed my problem.

Next day, got in the car to go to work and when I came out the driver side light wasn't coming on again!!! left it like that for a few days and randomly one night after work it works again (i didnt touch anything, just started the car at night and realised the headlights had come on :/ )

But since then it hasn't work since All my other lights in the driver side work, indicator, turning light. It's only the Xenons that aren't working

What do you guys think? Some on a BMW group on facebook suggested that the grounding wire could be loose or something and I will have to check this out soon when I install my new angel eye rings and hve the headlight and everything out.

If I can't find anything I'm guessing it can only be the FRM which I'll probably upgrade to the FRM3 and get LCI Tails while I'm at it. Is it hard to code the FRM3? I've never ever coded before, only using the bluetooth app and doing the digital speed haha
