Vorsteiner | GTRS4 Wide Body Official Launch!

From Vorsteiner Press Release:

"Our team at Vorsteiner would like to thank all our dealers and customers who visited us during the 2014 SEMA Show. We appreciate all the kind compliments and feedback on our booth, vehicles and our brand new Flow Forged Program.

At Vorsteiner, our mission with design is to be not only innovative, but also revolutionary for all BMW enthusiasts alike. BMW’s has always been a core market for us so it was only natural to do something groundbreaking for the BMW M4.

Celebrating 10 years, our limited edition GTRS4 is a full wide body conversion for the BMW F82 M4. The GTRS4 is a full lightweight carbon composite conversion designed, tested and developed in-house by our team in Orange County, California.

From the original launch of the development process, our design and engineering team worked in tandem to ensure the wider fenders and wheels were functional. We strategically crafted air ducts for optimal cooling towards the front brakes, while paying attention to aerodynamic ventilation for the inbound air to exit.

The front fenders have a total span of 4 additional inches, while the rear quarter panels sit 7 inches wider than the original dimensions. We’ve specially designed 3-Piece Forged wheels in 20x10.5J and 20x13.5J respectively to fit the 275 and 345 width tires.

The Special Edition GTRS4 Package Includes:
• Carbon Fiber Front Bumper with an Integrated Front Splitter Element
• Carbon Fiber Wide Front Fenders with Ventilation (2 inches wider each side)
• Carbon Fiber Aero Side Blade Elements
• Carbon Fiber Wide Rear Fenders (3.5 inches wider each side)
• Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper with an Integrated Rear Diffuser Element
• Vorsteiner 90mm Quad Exhaust Tip Finishers (Options: Brushed | Diamond Black)
• Vorsteiner Embroidered Colored Floor & Trunk Mat Set • Vorsteiner Chrome Trunk Badging
• GTRS4 Forged 3-Piece Wheels, 20x10.5J | 20x13.5J in Gloss Brushed Shadow

Technology Partners:
• Pirelli Tires
• KW Suspension
• Brembo | Race Technologies
• ESS Tuning
• KI Studios
• Gold & Co. London"

Enjoy these amazing photos!

Not a big fan personally... Rear fenders don't really flow with the rest of the car. Kinda looks like a dually rear fender was attached to the M4...

And someone else was first to the party on that front...

It's particularly the highlighted area in the pic below that disturbs the look from the side IMO:

Dreadful looking!!! Rear arches are way too wide and as always with these kind of kits, the wheels have waaaaay too much dish.

I dread to think how much they want to charge for this conversion too.

I think I can appreciate the effort put into this. I would like to see it in person before I say what I really think about it. Nice job VRS

i think the concept is great but something is off regarding the rear fenders. i think if there was more of a crease to accentuate the rear bulge it would look more cohesive,

That's about as ugly as you could possibly make the car.

Can you run quad 19x6.5 in rear instead of the 13.5's? Seems more appropriate.

What a bitchy crowd. Even if you dont like it, don't bitch at something that someone put in lots of time and efforts. Especially on the page where they are promoting their product sales. Just because you are sitting behind a computer screen people become such assholes.. Bet none of you would walk up to their sales rep in real life, and tell em how you think the design sucks. Keep some manners people.. Geez..

No talk about how this improves the car because it likely doesn't except add weight, add aero drag, add rolling resistance, and who knows what to the suspension and handling with the huge changes in track front and rear.

Put this on the track against a stock car and my money is on the stocker.

But I appreciate the styling work done here, just don't comprehend it...but I suppose it's just for fun.

Says the man bitching behind a keyboard. Would you like me to place a call to them and record it, asking if I can run the wheels in my aforementioned post?

Stop being a bitch.
