It's about being satisfied with who you are. I wanted to be 6'4", just seemed like a nice number and good for sports where you're rated on your height and weight. I stopped growing 2" shy of that. So why not wear platform shoes, who would know?

And if a girl wanted cosmetic surgery, why wouldn't she pay for it herself?

So... My friend's boss gave him 2 paid days off and 2 tickets to LA County Fair, and offers me the other ticket in exchange for a ride there... What do I have no choice but to tell him?

He knows I work at a school, and the principal refuses to close it like every other fcuking school in the country, and as my class' students are mostly single moms, they were pissed off that they couldn't take their kids anywhere either, and in fact one student had to bring her kid in since she can't find a babysitter that is willing to work today.

If that wasn't enough, the A/C is off in the entire building so it's hot as hell in here, the pathway to the restroom is locked and nobody has a key, meaning that we'd have to walk to a nearby Denny's to use the restroom... But the ONLY advantage is that I have time to reinstall Windows on my laptop, but even then unfortunately that's only because HP refuses to honor my warranty repair request for a hardware issue, and I'm going through all this trouble this to prove to some idiot CSR in Mumbai that it's not an issue with Windows or drivers.... True first world problem? That means I lose all my progress and advanced weapons on games I played in campaign.

*EDIT* oh, and some idiots are skateboarding around the plaza, and since it's too hot to close the doors we can't drown it out, and the principal tried calling the cops but they told him they were busy, the security guards have their day off, so all I hear alllllllllllllll day since I got here is *wheels rolling* *slam* [repeat ad infinitium]

Here is my First World Problem I have been struggling with for the past 10 days, or so.

Trying to decide on a replacement for my stolen bike, and I really am torn between the following three choices...

Choice 1: 2014 BMW S1000RR. Motor Sport Color. I know the S1K is an awesome bike because I had one for over two years, and the price is right at $16,000. I was very happy with my Beemer untill it was stolen... but I do not want a Motor Sport Color scheme, and that is all that is left over for 2014 until the 2015 model comes out in a few months... but I am already going through withdrawal with out a bike so I can't wait so long

Choice 2: 2014 Ducati Panigale 899. Red or Flat White available. The Panigale is the sexiest bike around visually IMHO. I really like it in both colors available, but I am afraid that stepping from a 999cc bike to a 898cc might leave feeling like this bike might be too "weak" in the power department... but like I said, aesthetically, I think this is a gorgeous motorcycle, and the price is right at $15,000.

Choice 3: 2013 Ducati Panigale 1199. White in color. What a beautiful machine. If money wasn't a factor, this would be my replacement bike. Left over stock, so no miles on 2013 model. After checking the specs and reading/watching MANY reviews, even though the 1199 doesn't quite (very shallow margin) match up with the S1000RR in the performance department, the 1199 Panigale has been my dream bike for a couple years or so. I just have trouble justifying the price tag for this machine at $17,500 because it will be a couple years old in a few months.

If it were possible to have the performance of the BMW, wrapped up in the aesthetics of the Panigale, then this would be a no brainer for me... I just want a replacement bike so badly, but I do not want to deal with buyer's remorse after a couple of months if the novelty of either model of the Panigale wears off, of if I get a second S1000RR now, and then the 2015 model Beemer has some radical changes (rumored) making my brand neww BMW out dated in just a few months.

First world problem, indeed.

We picked up a mobile Wifi unit here in the UK from EE. I stupidly started out with the 2GB plan, which got burned up quickly when Wifey logged onto our Pet Cam and then minimized the web page and forgot about it. I tried to add bandwidth, but EE's idiot web app won't work if you don't have a verifiable UK address. So I went to an EE store to add bandwidth. The girl there promised me it was all set and I now had 6GB of BW. Come to find out I only had enough credit to buy 6GB BW. While trying to figure out EE's bizarre web app, I hit reply to a text they sent me and it instantly charged me 10 pence. So now I'm 10 pence short of having enough credit to but 6GB. So I got the 2GB plan and figured I'd fix it next time I saw an EE store. I found one today, but the EE store can only add credit in 10GBP multiples, so I will always have 4.90GBP in credit just sitting out there uselessly.

Cliff Notes: Brit cell phone companies are every bit as screwed up as ours.
