@ddk632 I hear ya. My first thought was there would be a good amount of trolling from people.

DDK has been a successful orangeer around here for a few years, at least. I should have made the switch back then.

Nkc, be careful and not "sample" the merchandise too much

I especially don't understand the business owners not wanting to talk about their businesses. Is this not an opportunity to network or maybe get a new customer or two? Or does it just lead to people trolling you?
I always feel like the question is asked in order to figure out how others afford certain things. We have a presumably younger fellow asking how others are driving M3s and M4s. He drives a 328i himself. Putting two and two together, he's presumably trying to figure out what job he needs to get in order to upgrade from his current vehicle to an M3 or M4.

As others have eluded to, it's a useless question to ask and equally useless to answer. I have a friend who sells wood floors and he's on his way to add a McLaren to his fleet (already has an M6 GC and a Range Rover Autobiography). Does selling wood floors equal having nice cars? Not necessarily. I could be an executive VP at VMware, but only make enough to buy myself a CPO 528i.

See where I'm going?

Absolutely, I get it.

I look at the question as getting to know someone a little. I had also said previously that I just find it interesting conversation when someone tells me they're in a line of business I never even knew existed. So when someone says they're in finance, I think, ok cool. But when someone like @Nkc comes along with such an ingenious venture, I can't help but be intrigued
I want to know, is he raising his own inventory or is he busing them in?!

But I forgot this is OT!! I'm not sure how my mind blanked out on that very important fact!

Just curious... Is there anyone here that feels that they could go out and spend $100k cash on a car right now and not be in any way financially affected. House paid off, massive savings and enough income monthly to have fun? I am curious what a person in a position of that sort may do.

a truck driver could do that if they saved long enough.
