I got a degree in Criminology because I want to become a police officer. People don't realize it but it's a great career with many benefits but it's also more dangerous then other professions. They pay for your tuition if you decide to continue and get a masters degree if you wanted to and the pay is actually pretty damn good because of the amount of over time you can get Promotions are endless and the higher you get the better the career becomes!

Unfortunately I have no interest in becoming a police officer, I am already a Soldier and soon to be Lieutenant so I'm all set with that.

no offense but to me i don't think college is for you, if you can't find something you love and will want to do for the rest of your life without taking the easy way out college isn't for you. Personally i suggest you try to build a business doing something you enjoy you don't need a degree to start a business. this is just my .02 though

couldn't you just go straight to becoming a cop right after high school?

You need either military experience or 30 college credits (at least at most police departments)

Also with a degree you get paid more and you get promoted faster and higher then officers without degree's (i.e. you can't become a lieutenant or captain without a degree and to become a chief I believe you have to have a masters)

Might be tough during times when no one's buying what you have a passion for.

Wouldn't want to be in auto sales right now.

any chance of studying in a logistics related major like Industrial Engineering? It's not that much math, only up to Calc III I believe.
