Just about to say that. It's preventing the car from toppling over that wheel.

The Macan might have the chassis and soul or whatever of a sports car, but it still isn't a sports car. I doubt my X1 which I'm sure has a lower cg, would handle that test nearly as well as that Macan.

I should see if that group did other sport SUVs like the M's, or the RR sport. I wonder how they stack up.

Plenty of cars go through this test; the Macan isn't exempt based on its CoG. The Grand Cherokee failed miserably at this test to the point that Jeep revised it so that it could pass.

I wonder if it just had to do with cold tires. My Michelin PSS will understeer pretty badly if I try to push in a corner really hard right after I start driving.

Makes sense to prefer a car not roll vs possibly hitting an object.

I remember when the "Yeep" GC failed the moose test and then Jeep engineers, showed up at their facility for another test, they couldn't duplicate the problem, it passed with flying colors.

What's the deal with the guy in the passenger seat? His behavior is extremely strange and you don't see that too often.

Now I want to know what Teknikens Varld has to say about this.
