No hope of putting the NA m3 v8 into the z4m, which is a great idea to resurrect btw, BMW is going FI all the way. New m3/m4 engine will do just fine...400hp 400tq

I think the Z4 was allowed on basis that BMW does sell 4.4 liter V8's both in NA and turbo form. They also sell Z4. So combined two separate rules together and you have a Z4 GT race car.
Thanks for the reply.

A longer, faster track is what happened.

As I said in my pervious post, if they stay out of trouble they should do well at the next race in Baltimore.

Petit LeMans is going to be an absolute bloodbath though. They really need to make sure they have everything else perfect, because that long straight is going to kill them.

Bill in M3 = winner; Bill in Z4 = 7th place.

Just sayin'. Well, just trolling, really. The M3 is the better track car than the Z4, but the Rolex/ALMS version of each really has nothing in common with the retail version. I just like to tweak the handful of Z4 track guys that are out there every chance I get. Even though they're all still better drivers than me at this point, pretty much.

So there.

Is it me or is that Z4 GTE just way too cool?

We need a road version … today!
