well I'm happy he hit it! Nobody was complaining was Sosa & Marky mark hit their crazy numbers but now everyone is whining like they didn't have their eyes glued to the tv sets and buy the bloody tickets to watch these so called "cheaters"!!
B-diddy is a hall of famer whether there is an Aster-ix next to that number or not! you don't win MVP just by luck.

Not really a fair comparison since the steroid use scandal wasn't well known like it is today.

Also, Bonds may not get into the hall of fame, remember he has to be voted in, and most of the people doing the voting hate Bonds. So dont count those chickens just yet..

And no, you dont win MVP just be being lucky, you win it by having natural talent boosted by human growth hormones..

I don't follow baseball but this caught my attention: Fan's catch could be costly - ridiculous imo.

He also has over 500 stolen bases, so regardless of roid usage, he's one hell of a player.

Just read that article. That article is ridiculous I think as well too. If he chooses to keep the ball, he has to pay taxes on it? That's garbage. A baseball costs $1, $2. Because it was pitched and hit once, now he has to pay taxes on a large estimated cost for its worth? It's not like he caught a brick of gold, he caught a ball with an intrinsic value of $1. I don't see how tax-wise he could be responsible for that as mentioned in the article..

Bet that cab driver is smacking himself in the forehead though.. Hard too..

+1 ... that guys needs to get a good attorney. Also what if you lived in Nevada and where there visiting .. how can they tax you? I can maybe understand the IRS .. but the damn state of CA ... I hate CA ... one of the reasons I moved out of there ... that state is screwed .. they keep adding more and more and more taxes on businesses, people, cars, ect.
