Talking **Official Sports Lounge Chat or Smack Talk**

I don't frequent this forum that much anymore but when was this section conceived? I don't remember it but it's long overdue.

Sweet! Might as well convert this thread into a Sports Lounge Chat or Smack Talk room about your favorite teams or players. Keep it clean!

Let the games begin...

I'm not a big NFL fan. I watch more College FB than NFL. But yeah, no NFL team in LA, UCLA sucking ass and USC not being bowl eligable makes this football seeing kinda boring.

LA football stinks and is non-existent.

Yeah boy! Are you ready for some FOOTBALL??

To hell with baseball. Even though I live in Tampa, I don't give shit if the Rays are battling for first place in the AL East or for the playoffs. Knowing them, they'll probably choke where the games really count.
As far as I'm concerned, their run to championship back 2008 (only to lose it) was just a fluke. Thank goodness the season is almost over.

Well, enough with stinking baseball. Boy, I'm so glad football is here.
It's good to watch my favorite college and pro teams.
Now that is what I call the new America's favorite pastime.

Go Bucs/Cowboys!!!!!!

As a Cowboys fan, yeah I hate to say it, but I can see Romo as the next Danny White.
I just can't see him as the heir apparent to Troy Aikman. Just a quartback that can get the wins in the regular season, but when it really counts he chokes under pressure.
If they had a Troy or a Tom Brady type QB, they may have had a better shot at winning the SB these past 3 or 4 years.

I'm giving -7 on the Cowboys over the Bears. Speaking about overrated...Cutler comes second behind Homo.

EDIT: Tony Home sucks!!!

WOO HOO! My Cowboys lost to the Giants and Tony Romo is out for the season. I can officially say that they SUCK!!!!
Might as well tank the season, go for the #1 draft pick (heir to Troy Aikman), and maybe get a new coach. Their peak was several seasons ago when they a had their shots at the Superbowl, but only to lose it by suckass Romo (i.e. heir to Danny White) and now it's time to rebuild! Rebuild! Rebuild! Now, if only Buffalo can win some games and get out of the winless column, then they'd be set.

You said it bro. Go Giants!

Well, I have my Buccaneers to root for.
Surprisingly, they're actually winning. I must be in the twilight zone or something.

How badass are the Giants that they've injured almost every qb they've played this season?

How overrated is Miles Austin? He drops a lot of wide open passes for someone that get's so much hype as a "premier" wr. lol.....Not even top 10.

How about the giants receivers stop eating popcorn before every game.. They are killing Eli's stats. over half of the INTs he has thrown this year were tipped balls.

The opposite happened for me. I was down huge and pulled off the miraculous comeback with TO by winning 120-117.5. TO managed to beat Mendenhall and Hines Ward and still being down 8 points before the MNF game. He's a freakin beast!
