Which at the end of the day, is the way you have measure any luxury purchase....you dont need a 3er, a Maxima will do the same basic thing, but for all of us, the extra $ spend makes us happy.

A bit off topic, but can anyone PM me some recommendations for a decent watch winder? Preferably, something that winds 2 watches but can hold a couple more - and doesn't cost an arm or a leg. Any links will be appreciated. Thanks!

After quite a bit of research (willing to spend enough, but not a ridiculous amount of $), I decided to buy a Brookstone double watch winder online. This is one of those products that is sold by "one of those companies" that most people say "Wow you're an idiot for buying a watch winder from Brookstone." (and I generally NEVER buy anything from there, I don't like the store). But I've had it for about a year, I've never had any problems, it has several speed settings so that you won't under/overwind your watches needlessly as long as you look up which setting is appropriate for the watch, and it looks nice.

I have the ACCURATIC automatic watch winder and it's awesome. The motor is very quiet and you can attach other winders to it.

I found a wolf triple, with storage for 3 or 4 watches above for $350 on a deal a day site a couple years ago. Still works great.

I've had the brookstone and eBay winders, they all die after a few years. IMO its better to buy quality (Orbita, Wolf, etc) or just get a nice watch box. Stay away from any winder that has two watches per motor.

gilt.com has a sale on watch winders today. I bought mine from them and their prices are very good.

I have the same one and have been pleased with its performance over the six months that I've owned it.

I'm assuming its a battery watch? If so, pull the crown out 1 stop and hit the chrono or reset button, if that doesn't do it, pull it out to the second stop, and try the same thing. This generally moves the second hand in 1second incroments and should fix the problem.
