I have always liked the IS300. I would never buy one, but at one time I did actually consider buying an L-Tuned version when they came out with the MT in that car before I bought my first E46. I always thought that the IS had a nice interior with its dash that looked like a chronograph watch. The altezza tails make the car look dated, but the newer ones with the darker rear lights aren't as bad.

lol no offense to your friend, but could he have made that look any more generic? lol, generic grille, bumper, side sills, etc.

The IS300 Looks dated to me. My cousin has it and god it's such a boring car. Both outside and inside.

IS250/350 interior > 3 series interior easy. Hate to say it, but I've driven both (and own a 3 series or two, or three) extensively and the IS takes the cake hands down. Those who think otherwise should probably test drive and report back here (no brainer). Along with being more comfortable and more 'luxurious' feeling, it's also very pleasant to the eye. The gauges are beautiful and the only thing I don't like about it is the Infiniti-flat styling steering wheel.

Comparing interior by photos is like comparing driving feel by numbers.

Finally some sense. I think the people who think the 3-interior is "almost as good" have never sat inside of an IS-car. The interior is leaps and bounds above the 3'er.

+100. like I said, I use to own a is350 also. The is350 interior > 335 end of story.

sigh.. ignorant fan boys.. if is350 was a german car he would be complimenting it.

LOL! Exactly. If it was the BMW IS250, "some" guys in here would be all over its nuts about how the interior was the best.

Loyalist, i think what they mean by the IS350 is so "comfortable" is that the ride is boring, dull, numb, and puts you to sleep. if they want that out of their cars, why even bother conversing with people like that.

plus, if i wanted a nice interior, i would buy an Audi any day over a Lexus. not much more expensive, a better interior, and 100x more fun to drive.

now lets compare an IS350 to a Camry. the design/console/buttons are basically the exact same. the IS350 is twice the price. i don't need to sit in an IS350 to unbias my opinion, because i would never consider buying one. a camry on the other hand is a much better deal.
