Nice thread Chris! Welcome to the underpowered NA family - didn't know you had an m3 before the s2k! You gonna be at Bader on Sunday?

Why did you not get another M3 or a 335? Just wondering, great purchase still!

Yeah, it could use a little more power, but if I wanted a car that was faster I would have bought something else! Thank you for the compliment

Yeah I sure did! It was an amazing machine. I wanted to make it, but had other things to do. I have been working Sundays lately :/

E92 seriously ftw. Also, Space gray ftmfw

So I decided that even though I have the sport package, I wanted to be sitting lower, and decided to purchase a set of H&R Race springs! I have done research and found out I should be using E36 M3 front bumpstops and Z4 rear bumpstops. I already ordered brand new E36 M3 bumps, but still have yet to order the Z4 rears which I will be doing here pretty soon

It's a box! Boxes are good

New parts make me happy

I also installed my brand new BMW Performance Exhaust today! First impressions are I wish it was louder! I know it does need some time to break in though. I am in love with the popping and burbling noises it makes. Driving is so much better now

I purchased an exhaust pipe cutter tool from Harbor Freight and bought another pack of gloves!

Super clean cuts!

Can't go wrong for $25 bucks

and it's on!

Thanks man!! I will probably end up buying some Koni yellows before I install the springs just to be safe

I just did the charcoal filter delete a little bit ago! Haven't driven the car yet though.

After this picture was taken, I used my dremel to smooth the edges and then rinsed the housing and let it dry. DIY all the things!!

The air filter is pretty dirty so I will either order a K&N drop-in, or go with an aftermarket intake kit. Any suggestions?!

People on here treat the 328i like it's a completely different car, and have no respect for it.... Just because they can go from stoplight to stoplight faster.

Yeah, I've noticed that and it's really frustrating. I never experienced anything like it on any other forum. This place has a lot of dickheads.

Thanks man, keep any eye on this build

So I have noticed the BMW PE has definitely gotten louder since the install, but it's still not loud enough for me. I was doing some research and came across AFE race pipes, and knew they would be something I'd like. I placed an order last week so they should be here soon!!! I have to buy new gaskets and bolts for where the headers meet the mid-pipes. I also still have to buy E36 front bumpstops and Z4M rear bumpstops before I install my H&R springs

Installed my H&R Race springs today. Took me about 7 hours, all by myself but I'm impressed and happy. Ride quality is better than expected, but I assume it's because my car has the sport package and the suspension was low from factory. Ride height is perfect imo! Will let the suspension settle for a week and take it in for an alignment

Here are some pics of todays action lmao!

started with the fronts

E36 M3 bumpstop vs E92 sport package bumpstop (front)

OEM sport spring vs H&R Race spring (front)

OEM sport spring vs H&R Race spring (rear)

I'm surprised how close in relation to length they were

I did the springs clockwise around the car, almost done!!!

ALL DONE!

Oh yeah, bought a red leather key cover from my BMW dealer last week haha. Key holder to match the interior FTW

Car looks great bro!!! Very tasteful and those H&R race springs set it off. Gorgeous.

BTW....you're right ...there are some huge idiots in here. I can't believe the amount if jackwads asking why you sent from an m3 to this....it is literally covers several times but peeps keep chiming in without reading the thread and asking the same question.

Read the fucking thread!

Thank you man! I'm very picky with my mods. There are people on every forum who really just read the original post and then just say whatever they'd like. I've been on car forums for a long time so I'm used to it hahhh
