Gas Price has almost doubled within a year.....

This picture was taken on 8/8/07 somewhere in Missouri during my road trip across America. My GX470 was getting about 15mpg. One thing I did realize was that gasoline in California was a lot more expensive than the Midwest.

I know gas prices are ++++ as we speak
but I'm very glad I have the 335i, I have power and great mileage (freeway everywhere I go), if I drove local, I'd drive like a grandma

I'm just curious, what's the hwy mileage you're getting in your 335i?

Well not exactly a 335 here. 330i & getting 35-36 mpg on pure highway driving. 25-26 mpg all around town (big town driving). I know some people might ? my numbers but I don't really care because I am laughing at the gas pump. It is a manual car as well.

Be ready to drive like a mad man to dodge all the craters and speed bumps.

BTW they do have thieves that are so desperate, that they are starting to steal the gas out of your car at night now. Had to get a gas cap lock!
