Don't really like the back...looks like a Camaro. Front and side profiles are good.

I have second thoughts by dropping the order on e92 and getting this. Seriously.

Yes, I am now telling myself that what I really need in a couple of years is not a used 4-door with a V8 and roundel but a 2-door with a V8.

I guess the 1M can be play 4-door duty if it has to

Its one of the better looking corvettes. Only part I don't like at first glance is the hood vents - they look a little like they were an afterthought. Definitely has some shades of Ferrari 599 and even a little GT-R in it. I think the most interesting part is they have finally put in an interior worthy of the car not something of a lower quality than a malibu.

I am pretty impressed overall. I hope it brings down current Z06/ZR1 prices.

It's sad to see the 1M community devolving...

Sorry. One GM/Chevy product was enough for me. Never again. After lemon law and all the other hassle. Trying to work on it and finding that interior adhesives were haphazardly applied to the doors. Mismatched panels. Different paint between plastic/metal . Countless trips to the dealer for clutch cylinder failure . Colossal POS. Too bad, because the Sky was a fun car.

Someday GM will make something worth buying. Today is not that day.

Wow! That bad? The Brits seem to like the Vauxhaull VX220 (which is essentially the same car).

I hope that the Corvette, which is a few rungs further up the ladder, has better QC. Either way, time will tell.

Looks amazing. I'd consider owning one, but too many sports cars and not enough family cars for me. I couldn't picture the 1M pulling 4 door family duty!

Although it doesnt look terrible, i feel it will grow on most, it does feel a bit over designed. I feel like the prior generations had cleaner lines.

I'm sure it will sell and be stupid fast.

+1. Not really a creative or "new" design, they dropped in whatever people want to see in today's sports cars. But if it has better quality and performance then no one should complain.

I would also refrain from using Stingray name, means different things to car enthusiasts.

I already drove the prototype C7 in GranTurismo 5
The rearend is something I have to get used to.

Europe has the F12Berlinetta, Japan the GT86/BRZ and the USA the C7 LOL.

Raceversion looks excellent.

Cheers

Amen. Reminds me of those plastic model car kits we slapped together with model airplane glue as kids (dating myself here). Some of the kits came with extra plastic gee-gaws, scoops, fender skirts and what not that you could plaster on the car to make a personal statement, or at least what might pass for the personal statement of a twelve year old.
