Does anyone know of any good insurance companies that would insure someone with :
3 points currently. But I have multiple infractions on my record. Also I am only 21. Thanks in advance.
Keep in mind I'm driving a 2005 Silverado and a 2015 F80.. I'm currently under my parents but I want my own.

You guys are right about them kicking me off. I just want to venture out some options that way if I am on my own I'll know where to go.

If you get insurance on your own with your type of record, you can expect to pay $600+ a month. I remember when I had my EVO with 1 point infraction, I was paying $380 a month on my own, full coverage. I was using Safeco, which I find their rate pretty decent (I never had to use them, "never got into an accident").

Try multiple insurance for the cheapest quote. State farm, geico, progressive, 21st insurance, etc. On the bright side, atleast you are venturing out of your parents insurance. Shows responsibility even though you didnt have a choice lol.

In Delaware every year the points get cut in half. So right now I have 3 that are from one careless driving charge (yes I know it's bad) but I have prior charges that have no point value. I was wondering if anyone knows any insurance providers that are not "mainstream" geico,progressive etc..

Haven't been in that situation but based on their ads, "The General" (cartoon general) and "Direct Auto" (with guy dressed like race car driver) give me the impression they may cater to less-than-ideal insurance situations.

With 3 points and being on your parents insurance and asking for cheap, you can neither handle nor afford an F80.

Obviously some carriers will be cheaper/more expensive than others but your main concern should be your coverage. Make sure you have good coverage for liability (more than state minimum), and eliminate unnecessary coverage like rental car (I'm sure you have a family member/friend you can borrow a car from if something happens) and roadside assistance (AAA is way better and far cheaper). Think long and hard about how much you will be able/willing to pay for your own mistakes, as well as for unforeseen events like hail, theft, or animal strikes, and set your collision & comprehensive deductibles accordingly. Then you can shop around for rates with the same coverage and see who really has the lower rate. Also look into other bonuses - the company I used to work for included $1000 in what they called "CP&E" or "Custom Parts & Equipment" on each policy. Let's say you total out your $6,000 car with a $1,000 set of wheels...you'd get the value of your car, as well as the value of the wheels in the event of a total loss or damage to your vehicle. You can always ask for more coverage in this area. I'm sure other carriers can provide this sort of coverage as well; it pays to ask around.

See if you can open your own account but still have your parents benefits this is what I did when I got my 1er, it reduced my monthly down from $230/month to $106/month (22 years old/perfect record). My insurance didn't even require that I lived at the same address.
