Is this compressor surge happening? video of my car

I have 2 bugs since fixing my car. I just replaced the turbos myself(Shout out to this forum for the help provided! DIY guys are awesome).

One issue I'm having is what i believe is compressor surge. Here is a video demonstrating the sound. To me, it clearly sounds like air exiting the cone intakes.
The other is a metallic rattle or buzz on low rpm starts(maybe related?). Both appeared when i put the car back together.

Any help on this issue would be super helpful. And ideas to combat this.

Video link, Turn up your volume or even better wear headphones.

Is the noise only off throttle?

Video is a bit hard to discern but it sounds like surge or improper charge ventilation once the throttle body closes

Yes it's surge but not the bad type (WOT surge). Do you have stock DVs or aftermarket?

Thanks for the reply.

I have stock DVs on. And this is "ON" throttle noise for the most part.

I'm stumped because i haven't changed any thing besides the mentioned parts. not tune, not boost increase since i took her apart for the turbo replacement.

Can you elaborate what you mean by not the bad type?
thx

Its occurs when i'm on throttle. before i let my foot off the pedal i will get that sounds like a sputter.

Releasing throttle usually results in the normal DV expel whoosh plus this toot combined.

The dual cone intake and larger inlets allows a lot more noise to get out that would have been muffled before. Having said that, just check the vacuum hoses from the intake manifold to the diverter valves. Replace if in doubt and vacuum check to make sure they're fully open at around -4psi.
