Though I agree that it's nil on impossible to tell for sure whether it's awd or rwd one thing is certain, it's a very quick car to contain a ZR1 behind it so the choice of possible cars is limited.

I'm still sticking with the opinion that it's Italian and probably a Lamborghini, I think it's a Gallardo but as you are hearing more engine than exhaust note I could be wrong and it's actually an LP670. It IS the most likely car capable of staying in front of the Vette.
I have driven the R8, albeit never pushed it so I wouldnīt be able to tell the difference. I have also driven a number of other exotics some of which I have pushed. In any event, it may very well be that the R8 AWD is absolutely stunningc etc..., my only qualm is simply that I donīt know how one can tell this or that is an AWD from that vid. Of course, some can tell what sort of car it is from the noise and thereby, if we believe that its a Lambo, then conclude that its an AWD. Anyway, I respect you conclusion. I suspect its an AWD as well but with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires!! lol!

Yeah, P-Zero Corsas for sure. Just listen to the rumble they make, it's unmistakable.

As for the actual car in question, just list to this and make your own minds up.

I'm almost 100% positive here, it's a Porsche GT2. Yeah it sounds close to the Gallardo because of the V10 whine, but the GT2 has the same whine when you hear it in person... That's what I put my money on

If it's not that, then its the new Lambo 670-4 SV

Holy mother of God, beautiful sound, and yes, I am a convert, I would have to say that is probably the car. LP670!! Wow! Great find and thanks for the vid.

Man I'm good. It indeed was a Lambo ahead of the ZR1 and that Lambo was in fact the LP670.

if the ZR1 is indeed chasing that unreal Murci, that just says more about the Zr1, granted neither car was being pushed to the limit but still....damn

that Murci is SICK.

We both guessed right in that it was a Lambo, but both of us were wrong in thinking that it was a V10.

Yeah I know but in my defence I did say that we were getting engine and exhaust noise and not just the exhaust note because that was what was throwing me. Once I found the video of the LP670 exhaust note I knew exactly which of the Lamborghinis it was.

I know it would blow just about anything, I didn't mean anything by my comments, it was only a joke between myself and BMW-M-Mexico.

It'd still get walked. The vette is lighter and more aerodynamic.
